January is always a month that should be spent hibernating! I always struggle to get inspired to make new pieces of jewellery when the studio is cold, and the days don't seem to get light enough.
Ice moon.
I have managed to drag myself from the warmth of the wood burner, into my studio, with company of rabbits, who hog the radiator! To produce a new small collection of jewellery.
Frosty plants, Luna hogging the radiator! A beautiful sunset, and fallen Camelia flowers.
I have just received the collection of jewellery back from Sheffield freshly hallmarked. I am setting stones and engraving. Many of the pieces are making their way to Seven Fables in Dulverton next month.
the new work, yet to be polished, and my messy work bench!
I am also prepairing lots of new designs for the markets and fairs that start in March, kicking off with Karen Kay's Fairy fayre in Glastonbury
Also in March, A local fair to me, which has delicious cake!!
In April we are heading back to Glastonbury for the wonderful Wytches Market. Our favorite market!
I hope you are all keeping well, and I look forward to seeing some of you at the markets and fairs!
There are more to come, and I will update you again soon.
As Imbolc is fast approaching, the days are getting a little longer, and we are all emerging from the dark and cold, I hope to share lots of news with you in my next blog.
Love and best wishes
Rachel
